Overview of services

CNC milling

Our greatest strength! By machining with up to 5 axes, we deliver precise products that meet even the highest demands.

CNC turning

Our state-of-the-art lathes are versatile and can be used to produce first-class components from almost all machinable materials.

Wire erosion

No project is too complex for us: with the help of our wire EDM machines, we can create your desired product from a wide variety of conductive materials.

CAD / CAM

From 3D model to finished product: using state-of-the-art computer-aided technology, we supply all components from a single source.

CNC measuring

Highest precision: That is what our customers demand from us and what we deliver to our clients – with every single product.

CNC milling

High performance with 5-axis machining centres

Precision, speed, flexibility: these are the qualities that set our CNC milling machines apart. Computer-assisted milling with up to five axes is our greatest strength, and the production of highly complex manufacturing parts with free forms is part of our everyday work – often in the range of a few µm.

Our CNC milling machines from Spinner shape exceptional products that meet the highest standards by removing material through machining. Almost all machinable materials can be processed. These include commonly used materials such as steel, but also rarer materials such as molybdenum, tungsten or titanium.

The CNC control system (CNC = Computerised Numerical Control) ensures high speed and accuracy of the machines. This allows us not only to work particularly efficiently, but also to respond to the specific wishes of our customers.

CNC turning

We’ve got the hang of it

Our company started out with CNC turning, a precise and flexible process. With this technology (CNC = Computerised Numerical Control), we can manufacture highly precise and complex components. Nowadays, even components that previously required a milling machine can be produced with a CNC lathe. This advanced technology also enables the manufacture of differently shaped products.

SPINNER TC600

All CNC lathes are equipped with driven tools. With the support of the C-axis, these enable complex milling work to be carried out on the end face and, to a limited extent, on the outer surfaces.

CNC turning with Spinner: More than just turning

Our CNC lathes from the manufacturer Spinner are all equipped with driven tools. With the support of the C-axis, these enable even complex milling work to be carried out on the front side and, to a limited extent, on the sides of the shell.

CNC turning is a machining process for both metals and plastics. With our CNC lathes, we can machine almost all cutting materials – even rarer metals such as molybdenum, tungsten or titanium.

Wire erosion

Mastering complex components

In addition to CNC milling, wire EDM is one of our strengths. With a wire EDM machine from Sodick, a leading manufacturer, we can precisely manufacture complex components. This process, also known as wire cutting, machines conductive materials by means of electrical discharge between the workpiece and the wire, rather than using mechanical material removal.

Achieving maximum precision with Sodick machines

Our Sodick wire EDM machine has a linear drive and is characterised by its particularly high precision. Although it has only been in use since 2014, the wire EDM process has become an important pillar of our company.

This cutting process can be used to machine all conductive materials. In addition to conventional metals and alloys, CNC Center Northeim also processes rarer materials such as molybdenum and titanium.

Overview: Materials we process with wire EDM machines

Material group: Structural steels, heat-treatable steels
Examples: VHM, 1.4112, 1.2083, St52, 42CrMo4, C45, ALU and more

CAD-CAM technology

From idea to product

Using state-of-the-art CAD and CAM technology, we can plan your products precisely and have them manufactured accurately by our CNC machines. Computer-aided manufacturing thus contributes to the greatest possible accuracy of your products.

With the help of CAD technology, product characteristics can be examined and defined at an early stage. This technology also enables us to plan and implement even very complex objects, such as precision products with free forms.

From model to machine language

The data generated in the CAD system is transferred by CAM software (CAD = Computer Aided Design; CAM = Computer Aided Manufacturing) to tool path planning and the so-called G-code for our CNC machines. Using this technology, the code created can be tested again before the final manufacture of the product – this saves unnecessary material costs and time.

Greater efficiency with CAD-CAM technology

Both the CAD and CAM technologies we use are part of our computer-integrated manufacturing (CIM) process. Recurring tasks can be stored and executed quickly and precisely as needed. We are constantly refining our everyday production practices in order to work as productively and efficiently as possible with the help of state-of-the-art technology such as CAD and CAM.

CNC measuring

Our commitment to excellence in manufacturing

Precision and quality: that is what we deliver to our customers with every piece we manufacture. To ensure the excellence of our products, we have invested in a CAQ system (CAQ = computer-aided quality). Our CNC measuring devices from Mitutoyo, one of the world’s leading measurement technology specialists, are among the best – so you can rely on our work completely.

Our quality assurance department monitors all of our company’s manufacturing processes, thereby ensuring consistently high quality. We use our Mitutoyo 3D coordinate measuring machines (Crysta Apex C544, Crysta Apex S9106) and a wide range of digital and analogue hand-held measuring devices to check the components we produce. If any discrepancies are found during a target/actual comparison, corrections can be made immediately.
